Show Cancellation/Recording News

We have decided to cancel the acoustic show at the Chalkboard on June 23 because we are planning to start recording on that day. 10 songs to be committed to tape that day and many new/old songs to be finished in a second still unscheduled recording session. Below is a list of some of the songs we plan to record for the upcoming ep and lp:

Thanks to Den and the few others that came out to see us on Cinco de Mayo at the Chalkboard. We had a blast. Although turnout was a little light, it was still a great show. We played loud and hard, Pat played bass so hard that his fingers are covered in blood blisters. Some older guy bothered us after our first song, complimenting our song and ability, but he couldn't handle the volume of our rock. Brad gave him the vacant stare, we started the second song, Rob bashed even louder, so he and his wife left due to the volume - Sorry, but if It's too loud then you're too old! Thanks to the Chalkboard for having us. We will be back on June 23 for a special acoustic show.

New CD (Sort of) on May 1

Through Chief Baby Records, we will be releasing a CD called "Quiet Resort Deluxe." It contains all 6 songs from the original EP + 10 bonus tracks. The added songs are selections taken from 2001's "Fillage & Spillage" EP and from 2003's "B-String Leads" LP, which were both recorded by the band on 4 track. This expanded edition contains one version of almost all of the songs we played regularly back in the 2000-2003 era.

Now that we're back...

Now that Lou Albino is officially back from an extended hiatus and Cab Assassin is officially on indefinite hiatus, we will be posting band related information and other stuff on this blog and on the myspace blogs at www.myspace.com/loualbino

A couple of shows to play first and then the band will do some recording (hopefully before mid summer). And by the way, it felt great to play goin postal, muchacha mas fina (confusion trilogy), and eerie again. We might surprise you with some more classics in the set lists for future shows. Afterall, we are playing in the quiet resort again.
